Shott
Redesigning a cohesive digital experience across web and mobile while aligning with an established brand identity.

Overview
Shott is an entertainment and gaming brand that wanted to redesign its website and mobile application while maintaining an already established visual identity and brand language.
The goal of this project was to create a consistent and engaging experience across Shott's website and mobile application. Since the brand identity, illustrations, typography, and visual language were already established, the focus shifted towards improving information architecture, refining user journeys, and designing modern, intuitive interfaces that felt cohesive across every touchpoint. The project involved translating an existing brand into a seamless digital experience while balancing usability, visual consistency, and business requirements.

Challenge
The challenge was to improve the usability and structure of Shott's existing digital experiences without losing the established brand character. The redesign needed to make information easier to discover, create clearer user journeys, and maintain a consistent experience across the website and mobile app.
My
Role
I worked closely with my Lead Designer throughout the project, taking responsibility for designing the app and website under her supervision. I worked through the UX and UI process, starting with understanding the existing experience, identifying areas for improvement, exploring user needs, and developing information architecture, wireframes, and visual directions.
As part of the redesign, I also explored and proposed a set of feature improvements that could make the app more useful and engaging. We presented these recommendations to the client, who selected the features most relevant to their needs, and I then worked on designing those selected features as part of the updated product experience.
Throughout the design process, my Lead Designer reviewed my work and provided feedback and direction. I iterated on the designs based on her feedback and our discussions before presenting the refined concepts to the client. I incorporated client feedback through further iterations and worked with the team to ensure the final designs remained consistent with Shott's established brand language across both the app and website.
